The Insectoplant has hard, tough plating protecting all or some of their body. This can keep them safe from both other creatures and the elements.

The Insectoplant has a fuzzy, fur-covered “hood” that can be pulled up over their head or rest loosely at their shoulders. This helps them keep warm in frigid climates.

The Insectoplant has crystals and/or other minerals growing from their body.

The Insectoplant has tentacles coming out of their body. These are often prehensile and can be used to manipulate their environment.

The Insectoplant has a hole on their body that can be used to help swimmers breathe with ease.
