Alternate Types
Feathers

Feathers (Rare)

Category: Body

The Insectoplant has feathers resembling those of a bird covering all or some of their body.

NOTE:

Alternate Types
Odd Limbs

Odd Limbs (Rare)

Category: Body

The Insectoplant has limbs that do not resemble paws or human-like limbs and do not fall under any other limb trait descriptions. This can include things like hooves, tentacles, avian limbs, or dinosaur-like limbs.

NOTE:

When giving a Scoutopod hooves or avian limbs, please use the Hooves / Avian Feet trait instead. When giving a Brewmoth or Toxislug avian limbs, please use Avian Feet instead. When giving a Brewmoth any other sort of Odd Limbs, please select the trait with their subspecies name included.

Alternate Types
Unusual Body / Body Parts

Unusual Body / Body Parts (Rare)

Category: Body

The Insectoplant is physically made up of something unusual or unnatural. This can mean their entire body is, just a part of the body is, or something unusual and unnatural is attached to them. This can include inanimate objects, non-biological materials, and plant body parts,

Note:

Clothes, accessories, and props only need to be counted as Unusual Body / Body Parts if they are a physical, non-removable part of the Insectoplant’s body. In the case of a Snowphid having crystals or minerals growing out of their body, Crystal / Mineral Growth is used instead.

Objects in Body (Rare)

Category: Body

The Insectoplant has something unnatural inside of their body, such as objects, materials, or unnatural fluids. This can include objects partially embedded in the body and sticking out, as long as they are somewhat inside of the body.

Note:

If these objects are only visible through a “window” into the body, the Insectoplant must also have Transparent Body / Flesh.

Multiple Body Parts

Multiple Body Parts (Rare)

Category: Body

The Insectoplant has more of a body part than one would normally have, such as by having two heads, two mouths, two tails, or four wings. The extra body parts can be placed anywhere on the body as long as they do not resemble another trait that the Insectoplant does not have.

Note:

If there are more than the average amount of arms or legs, please use Multiple Arms / Legs instead. In the case of Brewmoths having more than the average amount of wings, please use Multiple Wings instead.
