Came to Cial's laboratory to gain powers and got them.. but at a cost

The machine Toby is hooked up to makes him immobile, he is unable to  do anything but think. He is able to protect himself from any magical attack and can even use telekinesis. He only lets people he trusts come him but he is completely vulnerable when he is sleeping. His only defense while asleep is the machine he is hooked up to which can operate on  its own.

The plants on Toby drain his life but make sure to never kill him. Removal of the overgrown plants will cause him to die
